  7. Relieving Factors:
    • “Is there anything that seems to ease the pain?”
  8. Exacerbating Factors:
    • “What activities or conditions make the pain worse?”
  9. Possible Cause:
    • “Do you have any idea what might have caused this pain? Did you have any injury or trauma?”

Swelling Analysis:

  1. Site:
    • “Where exactly is the swelling located?”
  2. Onset:
    • “Did the swelling appear suddenly or develop gradually?”
  3. Course:
    • “Have you noticed any change in the size of the swelling over time?”
  4. Duration:
    • “When did you first notice the swelling?”
  5. Other Swellings:
    • “Do you have any other swellings on your body?”
  6. Relation to Pain:
    • “Is the swelling associated with any pain?”
  7. Possible Cause:
    • “Do you have any thoughts on what might have caused the swelling?”

Ulcer Analysis:

  1. Site:
    • “Where is the ulcer located?”
  2. Onset:
    • “Did the ulcer appear suddenly or develop over time?”
  3. Course:
    • “Has the ulcer changed in size since it first appeared?”
  4. Duration:
    • “When did you first notice the ulcer?”
  5. Relation to Other Symptoms:
    • “Is the ulcer associated with any other symptoms like pain, swelling, or both?”
  6. Possible Cause:
    • “Any idea what might have caused the ulcer?”
  7. Constitutional Symptoms:
